Denmark's foreign minister says they're trying to get President Donald Trump to abandon the idea of owning or purchasing Greenland and explore a more diplomatic path forward. EU leaders, they're in talks in Brussels and one option thrown out there is hitting the US with retaliatory tariffs. They could meet again on NATO's Secretary General Mark Rutte. He held a phone call with President Trump saying they will continue working on this. And UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer also talked to Trump, saying applying tariffs on allies is wrong. President Trump insists it's critical for America's national security. Also, the land is rich in minerals.

This week, the Trump administration will begin freezing visa processing for people from 75 countries.

Fox's CB Cotton US consular officers will begin refusing visas to nationals, according to a State Department memo first seen and reported on by Fox Digital. The change will begin January 21st and continue until the State Department conducts a reassessment of immigrant visa processing and the State Department points to its authority under the public charge provision of immigration law. Department wrote on X saying, quote, the freeze will remain active until the US can ensure that new immigrants will not extract wealth from the American people, end quote.

Iran's foreign minister spoke to Fox last week claiming Israeli intelligence agents and ISIS style terror groups are killing protesters to provoke US military intervention. And at least 21 people are now dead after two high speed trains collided with one another in southern Spain. Dozens of others are said to be injured.
