Fox's Jonathan Haunt reports the FBI has not yet authenticated the latest ransom letter.
FBI Representative
Working to do that. We do believe that that contained no proof of life as asked for by the Guthrie family. We also don't believe it contained any new deadlines. So at the moment, that Monday deadline that the FBI has talked about and that those who have seen the ransom note say is a very consequential deadline.

We're going to meet again early next week and they want to make a deal. Iran as they should want to make a deal. You know the consequences if they don't.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says his country and Russia face a June deadline to reach a deal to end the nearly four year war. Zelensky told reporters the Trump administration is pressing both sides to end the conflict by early summer as Russian strikes on energy infrastructure over the weekend forced nuclear power plants to cut output. If talks fail, Zelenskyy says the Trump administration will likely ramp up pressure on both sides. He says the US Proposed the next round of trilateral talks for next week, possibly in Miami, and that Ukraine agreed to participate. Carmen Roberts, FOX News.

An Arctic air mass stretching from the eastern Great Lakes region to the northeastern region of the United States is bringing temperatures down between 20 and 30 degrees below historical averages. The cold is sending people in New York City clothing stores to shop for winter gear. Box five, New York's Duarte Geraldino is at Paragon in New York City's Union Square with details.

And this cold spring seems so incredibly far away. It's been nonstop over here. People are coming in. They are not just browsing, they're grabbing what they need and then getting out to get out of the cold. One of the hottest items right now are actually black vests, jackets and those gloves. The key here is that they are all heated, so you look like you're not wearing a lot, but they provide a lot of protection. And that's what a lot of people are getting right now because they don't want to be bulky, but they want to stay incredibly warm. The other big thing are the puffers and base layers that have been moving super, super fast in the Union Square area at Paragon. Dwight Te Geraldino, FOX news.
