It's a voluntary recall by subaru of about 70,000 vehicles due to a potential fuel leak that could increase the risk of fires. That recall includes 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid and 2025 Forester Hybrid models. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says fuel may le fuel filler cap if the tank is near full and exposed to high temperatures, raising pressure inside the tank. Subaru says at least 33 fuel leaks have been reported in the U. S, but no fires or injuries.
