Iran hits back. I'm Chris DiMaio, Fox News. Search and rescue teams looking for a missing US airman shot down over Iran.
Mike Tobin
The pilot of that F15E Strike Eagle has been recovered, but there were two personnel on board that aircraft. The other was a weapons systems officer. That is the individual they are looking for. And as US Forces are searching for that weapon systems officer, the Iranians say they are searching for him as well. Now, when search and rescue crews entered Iran to rescue that pilot, they came under enemy fire. Two US Helicopters were shot and crew members on board were injured. Those helicopters were able to land safety. Also, the pedagog confirms that an A10 Warthog crashed in the area of the Strait of Hormuz after coming under enemy fire. That has one pilot on board. That pilot has been rescued.

That's Fox's Mike Tobin in Tel Aviv. The White House reacting to this incident and how it will affect US Involvement in the conflict in the Middle East.
Peter Doocy
After the F15E shootdown became public, the president's first comment on Truth Social was keep the oil anyone? He also posted earlier today, our military, the greatest and most powerful by far anywhere in the world, hasn't even started destroying what's left in Iran. Bridges next, then electric power plants. New regime leadership knows what has to be done and has to be done fast. The president confirmed this crash won't change his plans for negotiations with Iran, telling NBC, no, not at all. No, it's war. We're in war. That suggests the timeline for ending epic fury laid out Wednesday night holds.

That's Fox's Peter Doocy at the White House. Pope Leo the 14th commemorated Good Friday and carrying the cross for the full procession. He's the first pontiff to do so in decades. On Easter Sunday, the Pope will celebrate an open air Mass in St Peter's Square before delivering his Easter message. America's listening to Fox News.

The US jobs report for March is in and it's well above expectations.
Edward Lawrence
More than triple, almost quadruple what the economists thought this would be. In fact, it's beating the high end of the expectations for where jobs were. Now, when you look inside the numbers, there's some positive things that are in there. Like when you look at average hourly wages, wages increased 3.5% over the past 12 months. This outpaces inflation and that means, means that as prices rise, American wages rise faster, which is not something that happened under the last administration. We also saw a turnaround here. Since President Trump took office, manufacturing jobs are down 91,000 positions. But in the month of March, manufacturing added 15,000 jobs. The labor secretary says this is not by accident.
Chris DiMaio
FOX Business Edward Lawrence Nearly 178,000 jobs were added in the month of March. The unemployment rate falling to 4.3%. President Trump has suggested the US pull away from NATO as his search for foreign aid in the conflict in the Middle east continues. Congressman Rich McCormick responds to foreign claims that it's just the US problem.
Rich McCormick
Quite frankly, it's everybody's problem. Having an Iran nuclear armed, having them out, produce everybody with 700 drones per month, threatening the entire region of stability. It would have come to a head sooner or later anyways.
Chris DiMaio
McCormick says that he doesn't think the US should pull away from NATO and that there may be other solutions. A second person of interest is now in custody in the deadly shooting of a seven month old baby in Brooklyn. Police say 18 year old Matthew Rodriguez was arrested in Pennsylvania with charges still pending. The first suspect, Amore Green, is already facing murder and assault charges. Investigators say the infant, Corey Patterson Moore was struck by a stray bullet while her mother pushed her in a stroller as two suspects on a moped opened fire on a nearby group. Authorities say the child was not the intended Target. I'm Chris DiMaio, this is Fox News.
