The two leaders met three times in 2018 and 2019, including at the DMZ where President Trump became the first American president to enter North Korea. But those talks ultimately failed to get Kim to end his country's nuclear weapons program.

A Utah judge has ruled that the accused gunman charged with killing Charlie Kirk back on September 10th can appear in court wearing street clothes, but the 22 year old must be physically restrained. Attorneys for Tyler Robinson said images of him shackled and in jail clothing could prejudice Future jurors. Day 27 of the government shutdown has come and just about gone as a top union representing federal workers is calling for an end to the government shutdown.

The president of the American Federation of Government Employees was, which represents over 800,000 federal workers, is calling for Congress to pass a clean continuing resolution to reopen the government saying, quote, no half measures and no gamesmanship, put every single federal worker back on the job with full back pay. Today. House Speaker Mike Johnson hopes this will put pressure on Democrats.
