The government shutdown continues. I'm Ted Lindner. Fox News. President Trump on fox's Special Report with Bret Baier Wednesday blaming the ongoing government shutdown for Democrats victories on Election Day. Fox's Kevin Cork explains it all from Washington.

President Trump saying a big reason the GOP didn't have a great night is frankly the shutdown, which is now the longest in US History.

I think that if we got rid of the filibuster, we, we would approve so many good things, common sense things, wonderful things that it would be hard to beat us.

Democrats want, you know, more spending on things like PBS and NPR and health care that in some states could help to cover the cost of health care for illegal aliens, a non starter for Republicans. As for the Senate majority leader John Thune, well, he doesn't believe there are enough numbers to end the filibuster Democrats.

Say they want on a platform of affordability and pushing back against President Trump. The death toll in Tuesday's UPS plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky, Tuesday continues to rise. Fox's Christina Coleman, well, people were killed.

Maine now the 22nd state to pass a red flag gun law. Voters overwhelmingly passing question two, with supporters citing the Lewiston mass shooting as a major reason to pass it. The law allows family members or officers to petition the court for an extreme risk protection order to seize guns or stop the purchase of a gun from someone suspected of posing a significant danger to themselves or others. Maine voters passed the law almost two years to the day after the deadliest mass shooting in state history. In Lewiston, 18 people were killed when a gunman opened fire in a bowling alley and restaurant. And two additional arrests from New Jersey announced in connection to the alleged conspiracy of a Halloween terror attack. In Detroit, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey, Elena Haba, sharing details on communications between those two defendants.
