That's Caroline Elliott with Fox. Nine Minneapolis. Three separate shootings following Christmas tree lightings Friday night shake the holiday spirit in Chicago and one in a North Carolina town. The shooting in Concord left four injured, three critically. This man was there. We were standing right there. We heard the pops and there was a kid laying in the street, you know, bloody. And it's just, it's not, it's not, I'm not worried about my, I'm just worried about the kids. I had to see that. The two other shootings happening in Chicago in the loop area. A 14 year old boy died and at least eight other teens were injured. A mass shooting in Phoenix on Saturday night. Police say four people were shot, one is dead. Details sketchy, but police say a dispute between two cars resulted in gunfire being exchanged. A suspect is in custody. America is listening to FOX News.

And late this week, a pair of B52 bombers from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota flew an attack demonstration right off the coast of Venezuela. Venezuela. About a quarter of all deployed US Warships are in the Caribbean. The vanguard of this Operation Southern Spear USS Gerald R. Ford with four squadrons of F18 Super Hornets aboard. There are now over 200 Tomahawk cruise missiles deployed in theater ready to fire at predetermined targets inside Venezuela.

A Friday marked the end of a week long training exercise in Trinidad. The Marines have returned to their ships and now are on alert, ready for any orders from the commander in chief. Should lawmakers be able to trade stocks? That question is up for debate. Fox's Rich Edson in Washington has more.

Meantime, the president says he's teaming up with legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus to revamp the golf courses at Joint Base Andrews.
