US retaliation. I'm Chris DiMaio, Fox News. The Pentagon has struck more than 70 targets in Syria as they ramp up attacks on ISIS. It's in response to three Americans being ambushed in Syria.

Last week, US Central Command launched a massive strike on dozens of ISIS targets in an operation called Operation Hawkeye Strike. Iowa is the Hawkeye State. The strikes took place at multiple locations across Syria. The targets include ISIS infrastructure and weapons storage sites. Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth tweeted, quote, this is not the beginning of a war. It is a declaration of vengeance. The United States of America under President Trump's leadership, will never hesitate and never relent to defend our people. Sgt. William Nate Howard, 29, of Marshalltown and Sgt. Edgar Torres Tovar, 25, of Des Moines and their civilian interpreter, Ayed Mansour Saqat of Michigan returned home in a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, where they were met by the president.

That's Fox's Jennifer Griffin @ the Pentagon. The Democratic National Committee is blocking the release of an autopsy report of last year's elections. Fox's Mark Meredith has.

More. Democrats have been spending months analyzing what went wrong in the 2024 election. But a report detailing just that, it's going to be kept private. And it's a decision some on the left call ridiculous. The DNC chairman Ken Martin had said in the past he would release the autopsy report publicly. Now he claims doing that distracts the party ahead of the midterms. The chairman writing, here's our north star. Does this help us win? If the answer is no, it's a distraction from our core mission. 2024 was an odd election to say the least. The incumbent president dropped out mid summer. The vice president won the nomination without ever winning a primary. Some notable Democrats think people deserve.

Answers. RNC national press secretary Kirsten Pell is saying in a statement to Fox that they believe it's more evidence that the DNC is collapsing. America's listening to Fox.

Was discovered. An autopsy report released Friday suggests Claudio Neves Valente shot and killed himself Tuesday, two days before officials found his body inside of a storage facility in New Hampshire. Police in Providence, Rhode island, identifying the 48 year old Portuguese national as the man they believe fatally shot two students and wounded nine others at Brown University last week. They believe he also shot and killed MIT Professor Nuno Loriero in his Boston area home Monday. Investigators say the former PhD student at Brown had no known connection to the victims at the university, but that he and the MIT professor had attended the same school in Portugal in the 1990s and both studied physics. FOX News. The National Transportation Safety Board is launching an A team to investigate a plane crash that occurred on Thursday in North Carolina that left multiple people dead. The victims include former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle and his family. NTSB board member Michael Graham says he and his team are trying to find out what caused.

Probable cause. The area was experiencing some poor weather with drizzle that turned into a heavy rain. The White House is banking on lower energy costs to address Americans.

Affordability concerns. Well, President Trump has been bringing relief with the policies of this last year. Of course, he talked often about drill, baby, drill, but that was really his way of signaling, hey, we're going to, we're going to unleash.
