The incident took place at the DMV office near Wilmington. Delaware State Police spokesman Corporal Rashawn Rich explains what happened.

The suspect approached the trooper who was working an overtime assignment sitting at the reception desk and shot him.

Corporal Rich says the trooper then saved someone else's life.

After being shot, the trooper pushed a DMV employee out of harm's way and the suspect shot the trooper again.

Senator Ben Sasse saying Tuesday he was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. The 53 year old making the announcement on social media saying he learned of the diagnosis last week. Sasse first elected to the Senate in 2014 and won re election in 2020. And a graphic letter is said to have been written by Jeffrey Epstein's a fake. According to the Justice Department, the letter supposedly written from Epstein to his fellow sex offender friend Larry Nassar. America's listening to fox.

Several Republicans expressing concern over the big, beautiful bill as it was being drafted. Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene took issue with a provision banning states from imposing regulations on artificial intelligence. Democrats blasted the bill for its cuts to Medicaid. The Supreme Court is blocking a National Guard deployment in Chicago, at least for now. The Trump administration so far has not identified a source of authority allowing the military to execute the laws in Illinois. A Supreme Court order concludes justices are refusing to lift a lower court's order blocking President Trump from deploying National Guard troops in the Chicago area. It's not a final ruling, but it is at least a temporary setback for the administration as it seeks to use National Guard troops to support crime and immigration crackdowns in other cities. Conservative Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch dissented from the majority. And Louisiana's governor welcoming the National Guard into his state. 350 troops will be deployed in New Orleans ahead of the new year to thank President Trump.

He is fulfilling his commitment. Him and Secretary of War Hetseath are sending the National Guard back into Louisiana into New Orleans. They will be there for New Year's Eve and they're going to be there for a deployment through February, which we desperately need.
