Mike Seidel
The wind gusting over 40 miles an hour picking up the powdery snow. Temperatures at that point were about 22 degrees. So it just blows it around, drifts it around. By the way, most of the cars in the parking lot just scrape some ice and snow off the windshield. You don't have to get the snow brush out because it all blew off the cars. A lot of it blew off the highways. So getting around today is not too bad. Although the roads are snow packed and snow covered in bitter cold, wind chill is now down to six above zero. We've got that extreme cold warning through tomorrow morning, Monday morning. Tomorrow afternoon will get above freezing for a few hours by a few degrees and the winds will start to slow down and back off.

And various winter weather alerts stretch from the southern tip of Georgia all the way north into Maryland through today. Tension growing again in the Middle east along with the US Military's presence in that area.

Republicans can only lose two votes and still pass the bill. Democrats are signaling they will not help on the vote tomorrow night. Democrats insist on concrete changes for ICE until they support any DHS funding bill. Many want to defund ICE completely. The progressive base is lugging the party to the left. 78% of the government is shut this weekend. That includes the Pentagon housing programs and the Department of Homeland Security, plus transportation. That's a problem if it's a long shutdown.

And that's Fox's chat program on Capitol Hill. The man accused of killing conservative speaker and activist Charlie Kirk, Tyler James Robinson to back in court this week. His legal team fights to block the video of the Kirk assassination from being shown in court.
Ainsley Earhart
This hearing is a continuation of the January 16 hearing during which Robinson's attorneys argued the prosecution should be kicked off the case due to an alleged conflict of interest they say is due to a child of one of the prosecutors being in the crowd when Kirk was murdered. And they claim that any video of the shooting is irrelevant to their motion because it, quote, is graphic and likely highly disturbing to any person who views it negatively impacting Mr. Robinson's constitutional right to a fair trial. His defense team has also said it plans to ask for cameras inside the courtroom to be banned during this week's hearing as well.
