It would fund most of the government through September, but Homeland Security only for a few weeks to allow negotiations on immigration enforcement changes.

This is a deal the president struck with Senate Dems, but there's a possibility House Republicans might have to pass this measure on their own. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wants negotiations regarding DHS to begin now, not over the next two weeks.

Costco is recalling a bakery item over a labeling issue that could lead to allergic reactions.

The company announced its mini beignets filled with caramel were mistakenly packaged with mini beignets filled with chocolate hazelnut. So the baked goods sold for the last two weeks in January contain undeclared tree nuts. The company warns if you're allergic to hazelnuts or filberts, do not eat. Return for a full refund affecting 22 states. This follows Costco being hit by a class action Lawsuit overselling its $4.99 rotisserie chickens as preservative free when they contain sodium phosphate and carrageenan.
