Following a lengthy discussion with prosecutors and defense lawyers, Judge Gregory Caro set Luigi Mangione's New York state murder trial for June 8. Mangione's lawyers objected to the June date, telling the judge that at that time they'll be consumed with preparing for Mangione's federal trial, which is set to start on September 8th. The judge's answer quote, be ready. Mangione also spoke out in court in protest of the date, telling the judge, quote, it's the same trial twice. Double jeopardy by any common sense definition.

Fox's Tanya J. Powers. Mangione has pleaded not guilty to all charges. And the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, gunned down outside a hotel in midtown Manhattan more than a year ago. Just getting word that actor Timothy Busfield is indicted by a grand jury in New Mexico on four counts of criminal sexual contact with a child. Buzzfield, who's married to actress Melissa Gilbert, was arrested last month and has denied alleg stemming from his work as a director on the TV series the Cleaning Lady. A man charged more than a decade ago is now in custody for the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans in Libya, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. In 2012, we lost four brave Americans in Chris, Sean, Kyle and Steve. And we can never, ever, ever forget them, ever. And we will not. FBI Director Kash Patel as the suspect Zubair Al Bakush arrived in Maryland early today after being arrested overseas. A Libyan militant suspected of masterminding the attack on the diplomatic compound was already prosecuted and sent to prison. Even more federal investigators arriving in Arizona, day six of the search for Nancy Guthrie.
