An urgent plea. I'm Pam Puso, FOX News as the search continues for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC Today show co host Savannah Guthrie. The family is reaching out to those who may be holding her. Fox's Alicia Acuna is in Tucson.

We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us and.

We will pay, the FBI tells the Associated Press. When Savannah says in that video, quote, we received your message, she is referencing a second alleged ransom note sent via email to local TV news station KOLD on Friday. Kold says that email, which they have not released to the public, did not contain proof of life of Nancy Guthrie, something the family asked for in two videos they released earlier this week.

An initial Note reportedly demanded $6 million in Bitcoin, she said to be in stable condition. US skier Lindsey Vaughn, who crashed at the Winter Olympics.

Lindsey Vonn. She was airlifted off the course in Italy this morning and what was described as a tragic and gut wrenching fall, the crash happening just 13 to 14 seconds into her downhill run when Vaughn clipped the fourth gate with her right arm, knocking her off balance in the air on the first jump, forcing all her weight to shift back. Back on her skis, she looked, tried to right herself in the air but couldn't and crashed into the snow. The 41 year old could be heard wailing in pain before being airlifted about 18 minutes after the crash. Vaughn had been vying to compete despite suffering what many thought would be a major setback less than two weeks ago when she ruptured her ACL in a different crash during her final competition before the Olympics. But Vonn was determined to race in her fifth and final Olympics.

Tens of millions of people in the east are coping with an arctic blast that has brought the coldest air of the season. Wind chills are below zero in cities like New York, Philadelphia and Boston with parts of upstate New York and Connecticut. New York feeling closer to 30 below. More from Fox meteorologist Adam Klotz.

It is freezing outside, but I'd like to be glass half full and talk about warmth that ultimately will be working its way in. Not a real warmth, but warmth compared to what we're seeing out there this morning. Early morning temperatures. A lot of folks down at freezing or below freezing. The coldest air across the country continues to be the Northeast. Feels like temperature is driven by wind. -12 in New York City, -16 up in Boston. The i95 corridor has been frigid and that's where the winds are still the strongest, gusting at times 30 to 40 miles an hour. We've been seeing that all morning long. Those winds were stronger yesterday. They're going to continue to back off a little bit today.

Temperatures should begin to moderate by tomorrow. A small but attention grabbing rally called the March for Billionaires took place in San Francisco on Saturday, drawing opponents of a proposed California wealth tax.

Some participants wore costumes and used satire to criticize the plan, which would place a one time 5% tax on the net worth of the state's billionaires. Supporters of the proposal say the revenue could help fund public programs and offset budget pressures. Tonight's championship showdown, Super Bowl 60 pits the Seattle Seahawks against the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. Seattle earned its spot with a dominant defense and a 143 season that included big playoff wins while New England is back in the big game for the first time since the Brady era and chasing a record seventh title. Key matchups include tough defensive fronts and explosive playmakers on both sides. I'm Pam Puso in New York and this is Fox News. This is Ainsley Earhart.
