Gunshots at Mar a Lago. And this is a FOX News alert. I'm Paul Stevens. An armed man is shot dead by Secret Service and local law enforcement at President Trump's Mar A Lago resort.

Neither the president nor the first lady were at the resort when the man, armed with a shotgun and in possession of a gas can, drove through a resort gate. Rafael Barros, the special agent in charge of the Miami Secret Service office, said agents and a Palm beach deputy ordered the man to drop the two items. He put down the gas can, but after raising the gun as if preparing

to shoot, agents and the deputy discharge the firearms to stop the threat. At this time, no law enforcement personnel were injured during the incident.

The Transportation Security Administration reversing course on suspending its Precheck service, saying it will remain operational despite a statement from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. The agency had originally said the service was being shut down due to the partial government shutdown. President Trump says the US Will send a hospital ship to Greenland to help treat sick residents.
