American casualties and injuries. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News Central Command saying earlier today at least three US Service members have been killed, five others seriously hurt. All this part of this weekend's joint U. S. Israel attacks on Iran. We're getting more details now about those airstrikes.

We've been able to confirm that it was the CIA that provided the intelligence to the Israelis that led to that strike that allowed the Israelis to drop 30 missiles on the compound of the supreme Leader Ali Hamza. That was the strike that led to the death of 40 top leaders of Iran. That report was first seen in the New York Times. Now Iranian media is reporting the former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was killed in a strike on his home yesterday where he was being kept under house arrest for allegedly plotting a coup.

And that's fox's Jennifer Griffin, Iran's president pledging revenge against the strikes. While Iran's foreign minister suggested a new supreme leader will be chosen in just the next few days. Leaders in the House and Senate prepared to vote on a war powers resolution in the coming days. But now they say they're ready to speed up talks as Operation Epic Fury continues to unfold.

They want lawmakers to come back to D.C. aSAP for an immediate vote on the measure. And they're demanding briefings from administration officials as well. Congressman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez saying the American people are once again dragged into a war they did not want by a president who does not care about the long term consequences of his actions. This war is unlawful, it is unnecessary and it will be catastrophic. Still, some Democrats support the strikes on Iran. It could cross party lines, making the math very complex. Representatives Josh Gotheimer, Greg Landsman, Tom Suozzi and Jared Moskowitz have already indicated they won't back a war powers resolution.

FBI Director Cash Patel activated counterintelligence teams with the FBI, putting them on high alert across the country. A law enforcement source telling us this means the bureau essentially has just increased surveillance of priority suspects. He posted online. We ask everyone to please report anything that may seem suspicious to law enforcement. 1-800-Call FBI tips.FBI.gov and then he thanked all the military service members and everybody who made this possible. Now from outside the White House to Times Square, groups held signs stopped the war on Iran. But on the other side of things, we saw many people in Los Angeles, Persian Americans who are happy with what happened over the past 24 hours.

And Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says she's working with federal intelligence agents to thwart any potential threats to the homeland. At least 22 people now confirmed dead, more than 120 hurt after violent clash, clashes outside the US consulate in Pakistan. Hundreds of protesters storming the diplomatic compound and a sharp escalation of anti American demonstrations. Security forces deployed police and paramilitary units as clashes intensified outside of that compound. Authorities in Austin, Texas, say at least three people were killed. Fourteen others heard this after a shooting at a bar earlier this morning. Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis on what happened when they got the first reports of the shooting.

Officers immediately transitioned, came over East 6th West 6th street and were faced with the individual with a gun. And three of our officers returned fire, killing the suspect.
