Watching Congress. I'm Paul Stevens, FOX News. All eyes on the Senate. Lawmakers could take a potential test vote later on today that could end a now 40 day government shutdown.
B
I was told that one goal would be to have a test vote sometime this afternoon. I'm also told that they might not put that on the floor if they don't think that they have the votes. Now in order to, you know, get across the barricade there and get across the test vote, they need 60 days. That means they have to persuade Democrats. And I talked to some Democrats last night who were still a little bit on the fence about this. I mean, you've had this coterie of John Fetterman, the Democrat from Pennsylvania, Angus King, the independent from Maine and Catherine Cortez Masto from Nevada, who've all voted on these other, you know, test votes before throughout September into October. But they've never moved the ball. The other issue here that might be the holdup is we still don't have bill text. Bill text. And this would deal with funding the government, reopening the government until the end of January.

And that's fox's Chad program. Travelers meantime, still dealing with more airport disruptions today as airlines continue to cancel flights.

United Airlines says its scheduled changes through Tuesday are now in place. They've canceled about 70 flights for today. Delta says it's canceled more than 200 flights out of there, roughly 5,000 scheduled for today. Southwest also canceling roughly 150 flights today after reducing their flight schedule by 4% across 3034 airports through tomorrow. Airlines are offering refunds with some giving customers the chance to cancel or rebook flights without change fees. The best course of action, of course, is to check your airline to see what their guidelines are.

And that's fox's Madeleine Rivera. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warning air travel disruptions could get even worse if the shutdown continues. Now possibly looking at 20% reductions in flights with additional delays. America is listening to FOX news.
