A Massachusetts man accused of killing and dismembering his wife changes his plea on two of the charges against him.

Brian Walsh pleaded guilty to the charges of misleading police and unlawfully conveying his wife Anna's remains to trash receptacles. He made the plea change just as jury selection was getting underway in his trial. Walsh did not change his plea of not guilty on the charge of murder and will still be tried for that. He is accused of killing his wife on New year's day in 2023 at their home in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Her body was never found. Prosecutors say Walsh had used his son's iPad to Google the best ways to dispose of a body. Opening statements are scheduled to begin on December 1, and the trial is expected to take up to three weeks. Tanya J. Powers, Fox News it's not clear what.

A federal bankruptcy judge signs off on the settlement between plaintiffs and OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma. The company's owners, the Sackler family, will pay $7 billion over 15 years, mostly to state, local and native governments who've had to deal with the opioid addiction crisis. 850 million goes to affected individuals. They'll get around 8,000 or $16,000, depending on their situation and how many people qualify to be distributed next year. The settlement replaces an earlier one rejected by the Supreme Court, which found it would have improperly protected the family against future lawsuits. This one allows entities opting out of those payments to sue.

Fox's Chris Foster, the nation's largest grocery chain takes a step back from robots. Kroger announcing it's closing three automated fulfillment centers in Wisconsin, Maryland and Florida in January. Seven years after partnering with a BR British online grocer to build warehouses where robots would pack delivery orders, Kroger saying earlier this fall many orders are faster and cheaper to fill in stores.
