Officials have identified the suspect as 29 year old Ramanullah Lockanwal. He's facing three counts of assault with intent to kill while armed. He will also be charged with possession of a firearm during a crime of violence if the guard members pass from their injuries. The U.S. attorney for D.C. jenny Pirro says the suspect will be charged with murder in the first degree.

Fox's Madeline Rivera Officials say in Afghanistan the suspect had worked with the US as part of a counterterrorism unit operated by the CIA. Prosecutors say he's been living in Washington state with a wife and children and drove cross country to D.C. ahead of yesterday's ambush style attack. The FBI director says it is being investigated as an act of terrorism. The Pentagon just posting a Thanksgiving visit by Secretary Pete Hegseth to the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford currently stationed in the Caribbean. Tight security and no problems reported at an iconic Thanksgiving celebration in New York City.

Santa has made his way to Herald Square atop his sleigh in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and the holiday season is officially underway. Some new balloons joined the lineup this year including Pac man and Derpy Tiger from K Pop, Demon Hunters and Cynthia Erivo got things started with the song. Other performers included Foreigner, Mickey Guyton, Lainey Wilson and Tony winner Jonathan Groff who performed with the Broadway cast of just in time.
