Defending the attack. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News Secretary of War Pete Hegseth defending a controversial second strike on a boat suspected of carrying drugs toward the US Move that some argue killed defenseless people that survived the initial airstrike. The very first strike to begin combat operations in the Caribbean has also received the most scrutiny after two men who initially survived the initial missile strike were killed in a follow on strike ordered by Navy SEAL Admiral Frank Bradley, the mission commander, according to Hegseth. From what I understood then and what I understand now, I fully support that strike. I would have made the same call myself. Some lawmakers call the second strike against the survivors a war crime, others a righteous one. President Trump said he would have no problem releasing the video showing the follow on strikes and it's not clear when that will happen.

And the continued strikes have killed at least 87 suspected so called narco terrorists traveling in boats. Chicago facing heavy snowfall after a low pressure system moves over the Midwest.

Welcome to the Windy City. Though it's not very windy thankfully because this Alberta clipper that has moved through snow starting Last night about 10:30 has dropped 5, 6 inches of snow and there are piles of it. Really quite scenic. As pretty as it gets with that snow coming through the canyons of buildings falling under the Chicago river and Lake Michigan, the shores here. The problem with all this beauty is, of course, is that causes issues on the roadways. Roadways were dicey in the middle of the night. Now Department of Transportation, Streets and Sanitation are out taking care of the bridges, sidewalks and roads.

Fox Weather's Robert Ray in Chicago, Republican lawmakers are considering an extension of Obamacare subsidies. A key ask from Democrats during the government shutdown recently. New Jersey GOP Congressman Jeff Van Drew on FOX and Friends to call for a temporary extension of those subsidies.

Obamacare is horrible. The ACA has been horrible and awful. But if we're not able to immediately get rid of it for a very short period of time, continue with it while we come up with a much better comprehensive plan. People cannot afford to have huge increases in their health care.
A
Now Senate Democrats introduced a bill last week that would extend those subsidies for a three year period, pledging it would decrease health care costs for Americans. But Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune criticized that plan, telling reporters it was, quote, designed to fail. At least 25 people, including tourists, were killed in a fire at a popular nightclub in India's Goa state. The fire, occurring due to a gas cylinder blast, has been extinguished, bodies being recovered. At least 100 people were on the dance floor of that club when the fire broke out. I'm Paul Stevens. This is FOX News.
