D.C. the U.S. is in fact inching closer to restarting major combat operations against Iran. That according to senior Pentagon officials who actually tell Fox that the final decision is resting with the commander in chief. Iran claims to have fired on US Vessels and targeted the UAE with missiles and drones. Drones and fast boats. The British military reported that a pair of cargo vessels were set ablaze off of the UAE coast. And for their part, leaders at the Pentagon did report that the US Sank six Iranian boats that had been targeting civilian ships in that area.

Military carrying out Operation Project Freedom to guide stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz. The Secret Service responded to a shooting near the White house Monday afternoon. Fox's Mike Emanuel is in Washington, D.C. with more.

Secret Service says a plainclothes officer spotted someone around 3:30 this afternoon with a weapon not far from the White House. The suspect fired his weapon after being confronted by officers. A juvenile bystander was hit by a bullet. A uniformed Secret Service officer shot the suspect near the Washington Monument. He's been transported to a local hospital. Secret Service notes the vice president's motorcade drove by that area a short time before the incident. The deputy Secret Service director says the agency will get to the bottom of whether this was a threat to the president.

U.S. southern Command says two suspected narco terrorists were killed after the U.S. conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel Monday. The vessel was transiting along known narco trafficking routes in the Caribbean. No U.S. military forces harm. More than 170 suspected drug traffickers have been killed since September 2025. America is listening to Fox News.

A federal judge apologizing Monday to the gunman accused of plotting to assassinate President Trump. Fox's Christina Coleman explains the defendant, Cole

Allen, who was arrested and charged with trying to assassinate the president, was placed in severe lockdown, which included temporary suicide watch. Allen has since been removed from suicide watch. But the judge who presided over his hearing questioned why Allen was placed on restrictive suicide watch at all. And the judge also apologized saying, quote, what am I to say to Allen that this is going to be a fair process if we're putting him in a safe cell when he's not supposed to be in there? At a minimum, I should be apologizing to him. We are obligated to make sure he's taken care of. Mr. Allen. I'm sorry that things have not been the way they are supposed to.

Giuliani served as New York City mayor from 1994 to 2001 and became known nationwide for his leadership after the September 11 attacks, earning the title America's mayor. His spokesperson, Ted Goodman says the pneumonia is linked to having restrictive airway disease.

Giuliani also served as a top lawyer to President Trump during his first term of office. Access to the abortion pill mifepristone through telehealth mail and pharmacies has been restored by the Supreme Court. The order signed by Justice Samuel Alito will temporarily allow women seeking abortions to obtain the pill without an in person visit to a doctor.
