There's multiple wildfires burning in California right now, including the Santa Rosa island fire, which has scorched more than 16,000 acres since Friday. In Santa Barbara County, Governor Gavin Newsom's office writing, quote, this is federally managed land and these crews are working hard. The question is whether the Trump administration, which gutted the forest service by 16% and left it in disarray, has given them everything they need. California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton responded by saying, quote, this is truly sick from Gavin Newsom. He just won't take responsibility for anything.

Iran's parliament speaker and top negotiator Mohammad Kaliba spoke today, saying it's the United States that is seeking another round of war. He added in a statement, for the sake of reassuring the dear people of Iran, I want to say that our military forces have used the opportunity provided by the ceasefire to rebuild their military strength as best as possible. His comments were echoed by Iran's foreign minister, who spoke today from Tehran, saying that he and Iranian commanders are on the same page right now. The latest Fox News poll shows 39% approve of the president's performance with just 29% approving his handling of the economy. A little more than half of those polled said rising gas prices are a major problem for their families, with the same number saying their families finances are worse now compared to two years ago. Nearly six in 10 voters said when it comes to the economy, the most important issue is the cost of living. The poll also found the president losing support with key groups with 80% of Republicans and just 54% of non MAGA Republicans saying they approve of the president's performance.
