New Fox News poll finds 60% of people questioned oppose America's role in the conflict. Republicans struggling Thursday to find the votes to dismiss legislation that would force President Trump to withdraw from the conflict with Iran. As it became clear GOP leaders would not have the numbers to defeat the bill, they called off a vote on it. Members of both the Senate and House have left Capitol Hill now for a long Memorial Day recess. No new votes expected till they return in June. Two time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch has died. Fox's Christina Coleman reports.

The motorsports world shaken by a sudden loss. Bush was hospitalized earlier this week with a severe illness. His family has asked for privacy now. The week prior, he was battling a sinus cold. He radioed for help during a race on May 10. His family, NASCAR and Richard Childress Racing, released a joint statement on his tragic loss. They said the entire NASCAR family is heartbroken. They described Bush as fierce and passionate. They said his sharp wit and competitive spirit sparked a deep emotional connection with race fans of every age. Denny Hamlin wrote on X Absolutely cannot comprehend this news. We just need to think of his family during this time.

The DNC's autopsy of President Trump's 2024 election victory largely blames former President Biden for failing to support his VP Kamala Harris. The justice department has charged 15 people in Minnesota with stealing $90 million from state Medicaid programs.

Officials cited programs intended to secure housing for homeless people and treat children with autism that collapsed as fraudsters piled on. The woman convicted as the kingpin in the massive Feeding Our Future scandal, Amy Bach, was sentenced to 41 and a half years in prison. Bach was also ordered to pay restitution on $243 million the government says was scammed through that Covet era food program. It was intended to help kids during the pandemic but ended with taxpayers being billed for meals that did not exist. Shackled in court box sobbed and said, I understand. I failed. I fail the public, my family, everyone.
