Not in a rush for a peace deal. On Fox News, I'm Sue Guzman. President Trump says the deal to end the conflict with Iran is nearly finalized. But as we hear from fox's Ashley Hogan, the president is not in a rush and vows to take his time to achieve results.

One senior administration official tells Fox the deal is 95% of the way there, but that this is not something that will happen today or tomorrow. The risk of a major explosion at a Southern California aerospace plant is potentially lower. This after authorities say they found a crack in an overheating storage tank that could help release. The tank started failing Thursday, forcing about 50,000 people to evacuate. Firefighters have been spraying the tank with water to cool the chemicals inside. Now that plant is located about 40 miles south of Los Angeles.

New injuries reported. Air monitoring tests have found pollution to be within normal limits and residents have filed a lawsuit against the company Saturday out of concern for the value of their homes. America is listening to FOX News.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia used a powerful Oreshnik ballistic missile in a mass attack on Kyiv. This marks the third time the missile, which is capable of carrying nuclear or conventional warheads, has been used in Ukraine. At least four people were killed and more than 100 others injured. A lot of Americans are staying home this Memorial Day due to high gas prices.

A Bank of America study found that nearly 10% of travelers are actually canceling a summer vacation because of high gas prices. The national average for a gallon of gas was at 455 at the start of the holiday weekend, according to AAA, compared to 319 last year. AAA is still predicting a record breaking 45 million Americans will fly or drive this weekend. Airbnb says a third of summer travelers are staying closer to home to save, noting the trend of placations staying at cheaper fun spots like rural retreats. Nine story building under construction in the city north of the Philippine capital collapsed, leaving at least one Malaysian tourist dead and 21 workers trapped. 24 were able to safely evacuate.
