President Trump met with top aides in the Situation Room on that meeting reportedly took about two hours, but at the end of it, no deal was announced. The New York Times and Axios report that President Trump sent tougher terms to Iran for a peace deal in an effort to exert pressure and to speed up the process. But it's unclear what changes were made to the potential agreement. This as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed to ship traffic and the US Continues its blockade. Iraq and Syria after meeting with several Middle east leaders. President of France Emmanuel Macron Sunday urged Washington and Tehran to reach an agreement as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the Israeli army has captured a strategic castle in Lebanon in its deepest incursion into the city in 26 years.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was vowing to expand his country's grip on Lebanon after the IDF captured a historic and strategic castle in southern Lebanon. It marks Israel's deepest incursion into Lebanon in 26 years. The move comes as Israel and Hezbollah continue to trade strikes despite a U S brokered ceasefire. Israel and Lebanon are set to hold more talks in the coming days to keep the ceasefire on track.

A nightly curfew is in effect around Delaney hall, an ICE holding detention facility in Newark, New Jersey that has been the target of tense protests. FO learned several protesters were arrested Sunday after they allegedly refused to comply with orders to leave the area. Some of this weekend's protests have been violent. More from Fox's Steve Harrigan.

They used the barricades to charge the police. They were met with direct blasts of tear gas and flashbang grenades. It took about two hours of a real back and forth to finally clear the streets. Dozens of canisters of tear gas fired into the air, igniting on the ground horses. Officers on horseback were used as well as ride police with shields trying to push them back. Towards the end of the night, demonstrators lighting fires on the streets using placards and signs and debris to try and light those fires. Officials in New Jersey still say it's just a fraction of the protesters who are actually violent.

Protesters are upset, claiming people held inside are on a hunger strike because of poor conditions. The Department of Homeland Security claims those inside are receiving three meals a day, clean water in health care and say those detained are not on a hunger strike. Former Federal Reserve Church, Rome Powell was in Boston Sunday where he received the John F. Kennedy Profile and Courage Award. Powell's a member of the Fed Board of Governors after stepping down as chair. And he is vowing, he says, to keep the Fed independent.
