Federal law allows a president to send Congress requests to claw back funding and withhold that money for up to 45 days while lawmakers consider the proposal. But with fewer than 45 days left in the current federal fiscal year, a so called pocket rescission essentially ensures the funding is canceled. Democrats warn the White House rescissions will make it much harder to reach a bipartisan spending deal needed to prevent a government shutdown on October 1st.

According to a search warrant obtained by Fox News, the shooter's father told investigators that the shooter had recently gone through a breakup with a possible romantic partner and was living with a friend in the days leading up to the shooting. We are also getting an update on the amount of injured kids still in the hospital. That number is now at five with one child still in critical condition. People continue to pay their respects to all victims, including the two kids who were killed. Police say the shooter was obsessed with other school shooters and carried out the attack to gain notoriety.

Federal officials wrap up a search of the Washington state campground where months ago Travis Decker's three young daughters were found murdered.

The FBI revealing officials are analyzing several items recovered during a two day grid search near Washington state's Rock Island Campground. 32 year old army veteran Travis Decker is accused of kidnapping and murdering his five, eight and nine year old daughters at the campground in June, leaving their bodies the girl's mother reporting them missing after they didn't return home from a planned visitation with Decker on May 30th. DNA testing confirming he is the sole suspect and a $20,000 reward is still being offered for information that leads to his arrest. The FBI announcing the grid search earlier this week, stressing they would be electronically documenting what ground has been covered in dense vegetation. Recalling tens of thousands of packages of imported shrimp that may contain radioactive contamination. Aquast USA of Seattle is recalling packages sold at Walmart, Kroger and other stores, while H and N Group is recalling packages sold to grocery stores on the East Coast. The FDA issued a safety alert and urged recalls after contamination was found in shipping containers and a sample of frozen breaded shrimp. Fox and YouTube avoid a blackout by agreeing to a new deal.
