President Trump said Rudy Giuliani will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The date and location of the honor has yet to be announced. Giuliani served as a U.S. attorney and was mayor of New York City during the attack and immediate aftermath of 9 11. Since then, he served controversial stints as an advisor and personal attorney. A man charged with attempting to assassinate Donald Trump during his 2024 presidential campaign will be back in court Monday.

Ryan Ruth is expected to appear for pretrial hearing in a Federal Court in Fort Pierce, Florida. The 59 year old is accused of waiting outside the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm beach last September and pointing a rifle through a tree line where the then former president and presidential candidate was playing in October. Ruth pleaded not guilty to a slew of charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assaulting a federal officer and attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate. He is representing himself after recently dismissing his attorneys. The hearing comes less than a week before his trial is set to begin on September 8th. Kristin Goodwin, Fox News.

Two people are killed in flooding in Texas. San Antonio Police say the bodies of a man and woman were found along the Salado Creek Monday after it flooded Sunday night. Friends of the victims reported them missing, one of the bodies later found by them, another by authorities responding to the scene. America is listening to FOX news.

Still no meeting set to take place between Russia and Ukraine.

President Trump said he would monitor progress toward peace over these last two weeks. Still, Russian attacks have persisted. Russia launched about 80 drones toward Ukraine after what was a weekend of heavy airstrikes. Russian President Vladimir Putin is in China where he and Chinese President Xi Jinping shared goals of what they call a united South. It comes as more than 20 world leaders descend on China for the two day summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or SCO, as China looks to take on a larger role on the global stage. The Trump administration continues efforts to annex Greenland, claiming national security concerns. Fox's Stephanie Bennett reports.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly pushed for US Control of the semi autonomous territory of Denmark, known for its strategic location for security and mineral rich land. Greenland's foreign and defense policy is controlled by Copenhagen. During a visit to a US military base on the island, Vice President J.D. vance accused Denmark of not doing enough to protect the territory. Denmark, a NATO ally, insists the island is not for sale. And while most Greenlanders favor independence from Denmark, they do not want a union with the US and tensions have recently risen. Denmark's foreign minister summoning the top US Diplomat in the country, Mark Stroh, over reports alleging that several Americans connected to Trump had been carrying out covert influence operations on the island to promote its succession from Denmark.

The White House claims Chinese submarines were seen near Greenland. Longtime Democratic Congressman Jerry Nadler of New York is not going to seek reelection to the House of representatives next year. 78 year old Nadler telling the New York Times it's time for generational change, saying perhaps a younger replacement can help Democrats do more.
