Fox's Trey Yingst Hamas officials telling regional media they've not yet received the formal Trump peace plan that's now circulating publicly. So we can't expect that they'll review the plan in the hours ahead. But there's a lot at stake here for the Palestinian people. We have to remember tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes over the past two years in inside Gaza. The vast majority of the population has been displaced from their homes and much of the Gaza Strip is leveled. President Trump is offering the Palestinian people to stay in Gaza, not be forcefully displaced. On top of that, offering them billions of dollars in regional support to rebuild their homes in the Gaza Strip with a new peaceful, moderate government. But this requires Hamas to lay down their arms and release the hostages.

The IDF has eliminated Hamas commander Hassan Hussein, who led the October 7 massacre at the Nova Fest. Sixteen were killed. Four were taken hostage, including British Israeli Anir Shapiro, who heroically threw back seven grenades before being killed. By the eighth, a government shutdown is nearing.

Thousands of federal workers deemed non essential could be furloughed in the wake of a shutdown. Programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and law enforcement will continue, but the employees working in those agencies could go without pay until the shutdown ends. Republicans and Democrats still have significant disagreements on avoiding a shutdown ahead of a midnight deadline that Democratic Senator John Fetterman hopes can be resolved.
John Fetterman
I hope we decide to find a way to keep it open.

The Senate is expected to vote today on a plan to extend government funding until late November. But Democrats want health care provisions included in order to get the 60 votes needed to break the filibuster. On Capitol Hill, Ryan Schmelz, Fox News.
