Chicago and Portland, Oregon are bracing for National Guard members from other states. Illinois Governor J.B. pritzker says President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard to deploy to Illinois or Oregon and other locations. The president also wants to send 300 California National Guard members to Oregon, but a judge temporarily blocked this move. President Trump claims the troops are going to places where there have been violent standoffs outside of ICE facilities.
