A peace deal moves forward. I'm Sue Guzman, Fox News. President Trump announcing that Israel and Hamas are taking the first steps towards peace. The latest from Fox's Joel Nadeau.

The president has routinely said the deal in the Middle east is bigger than Gaza and cult development. A great day for the Arab and Muslim worlds as well as Israel and all surrounding nations. So much is happening to get the hostages freed and we think they'll all be coming back on Monday. The president making those comments on Hannity. He also signaled he did plan to travel to the Middle east as early as this weekend. According to Israeli sources, the president could address the Knesset in Israel on Sunday.

President Trump said on Truth Social I'm very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first phase of our peace plan. This means that all of the hostages will be released very soon and Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a strong, durable and everlasting peace. And Qatar's foreign Ministry also says this stage of the deal will allow the entry of aid into Gaza. Negotiators from both sides as well as the U.S. turkey and Qatar have been negotiating in Egypt.
