This is a FOX News alert. I'm Sue Guzman. First Israeli hostages released. Israel confirming Hamas has handed over the first seven living hostages to the Red Cross on Monday, the first to be released as part of a ceasefire in the Israel Hamas war. No immediate word on their condition. Hamas has agreed to release the 20 living hostages in exchange for more than 1900 Palestinian prisoners. The remaining hostages are expected to be released at a second location later today. This release comes as tens of thousands of people have been gathering at the border with Gaza to cheer on the return of these hostages in time. We have President Trump who has left the US and is due to arrive in Israel at any time now for the official signing of a peace agreement that will bring the remaining hostages home after two years and in Hamas captivity.

This is a very special event that 500,000 people yesterday and today in Israel and also the Muslim and Arab countries are all cheering. Everybody's cheering at one time. That's never happened before.

President says the Gaza peace deal might be the best thing he's ever done. Powerful nor' Easter making its way up the east coast toward New England, bringing heavy rain, wind and flooding. Fox Weather's Mike Sodal has the latest from a Hoboth Beach, Delaware.

Winds are still gusting close to 40 miles an hour. It is a nasty night out here. The only thing that could make it worse if the temperature was any colder, it's now right around 59 or 60. So it's come down. Sand is being picked up by these winds. So we've got some blowing sand and we still have the high surf, 8 to 10 footers crashing onto the beaches here. And that surf has been eating away, especially at time of high tide. And this steady onshore wind continues to keep the water from going out. So the low tide, we've only had about a third of an inch of rain so far.

President Trump now says the US may provide Ukraine with long range Tomahawk missiles.
B
I might say, look, if this war is not going to get settled, I'm going to send them Tomahawks. I may said that the Tomahawk is an incredible weapon, very offensive weapon and honestly, Russia does not need that.

President Trump spoke by phone Sunday with Ukraine's President Volodymyr zelensky. At least four people have been killed, 20 injured in a mass shooting at a bar in St. Helena Island, South Carolina. Deputies called to Willy's Bar and Grill finding multiple people with gunshot wounds. Several hundred were at the bar at the time. No word in what prompted the shooting and no arrests have since been made. A legal limbo ends for a South Carolina death row inmate.

Fred Singleton was condemned to die in South Carolina's electric chair back in 1983 for the rape and murder of a woman. Police had found his fingerprints at her home and her jewelry in his pocket when he was arrested. But Singleton's attorneys argued he was mentally incompetent and the South Carolina State Supreme Court eventually agreed, blocking his execution but leaving the death sentence in place in case he should someday be restored to reason. It didn't happen and never will. Fred Singleton died last week from natural causes in a prison infirmary. He was 81 and spent more than half his life on death row.
