President Trump heading back to the US after meeting in Egypt Monday with leaders of more than 20 countries for a summit focused on the future of Gaza. He signed the peace accord that he brokered between Israel and Hamas to the applause of those gathered. The president calling it a day that people across the region have anxiously been waiting for.

Earlier in the day, President Trump addressed the Israel Knesset. He also spoke about Monday's release of the Israeli hostages, calling it a herald of a golden age for the Middle East. While all 20 living hostages have been released in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, Israel is currently awaiting the return of the bodies of others. Fox's Troy Yingst has more from Tel Aviv, Israel.

It was a day that was also filled with a lot of sadness, understanding that there are many bodies still yet to be returned from Hamas captivity. They are looking to the words from President Trump that he made at the Israeli Knesset before traveling to Egypt. We caught up with the president following those remarks. He had this to say about the hostages.

I think it just means peace for the Middle east and it somehow represents they become representatives of peace for the Middle east and that's why it's gone like this. Nobody's ever seen anything quite like it.

14 of the government shutdown. Both sides remain dug in. Republicans have put a stopgap measure to reopen the government on the floor several times, but it's failed to get 60 votes to break the Senate filibuster. Unfortunately, they've made the decision to take a my way or the highway approach. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are calling on Republicans to negotiate as Democrats are pushing for an extension of expiring Affordable Care act tax credits. Republicans argue it's a complicated issue that should be dealt with after the government reopens. On Capitol Hill, Ryan Schmell's Fox News.

Before President Trump left the Middle east to return to the White House following the Israeli hostage release and peace deal signing, he spoke with reporters aboard Air Force One. On the way, he discussed the recent court cases connected to the deployment of National Guard troops in crime ridden cities. Says if administration does not win these cases, the nation will see an uptick in illegal immigration.

Several US Airports are refusing to play a TSA video featuring Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noemi. In the video, she blames Democrats for the government shutdown. Also in the video, she urges travelers to be patient, describes how most TSA employees are now working without pay. Three airports in New York and Oregon's Portland International Airport claim the message crosses into political territory. And President Trump is expected to award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously Tuesday. The conservative activist was assassinated while he was speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10th. I'm Sue Guzman and this is Fox News.
