Democrats are calling on Congressman Eric Swalwell to drop out of the California governor's race after he's been accused of sexual misconduct.

Multiple people have come forward with claims of misconduct against Swalwell, including one in New York City that involves a former staffer who claims Swalwell raped her in 2024 when she was intoxicated. That same woman also claims a separate assault in 2019 and other misconduct during the time she worked for him. Well, DA Alvin Bragg is urging survivors and anyone with knowledge of these allegations to contact their Special Victims Division. Swalwell has denied all the allegations, calling them, quote, flat false. But now his campaign is in a free fall. He has in about 24 hours or so lost all 21 of his endorsements he had from his Democratic colleagues. And his fundraising and endorsement pages have all been taken down.

Fox's Chanley Painter reporting. Republicans are calling on Swalwell to resign from Congress. America is listening to Fox News. Russia and Ukraine are accusing each other of violating a Kremlin declared Easter ceasefire as Orthodox Christians gather to celebrate the holiday. Russian President Putin on Thursday declared a 32 hour ceasefire over the weekend, ordering Russian forces to halt hostilities from 4pm on Saturday until the end of Sunday. The general staff of Ukraine's armed forces says it has recorded more than 2,000 ceasefire violations, including assaults, shooting, shelling and some small drone launches. Russia's Defense Ministry says it also had recorded close to 2,000 cease fire violations by Ukraine forces. More pain at the pump as conflict in the Middle east continues. Industry analyst Toby Lundberg of the Lundberg survey with the latest Gasoline prices moved up another 16 cents per gallon in the last two weeks to $4.22. Gas prices rose $1.20 over the six weeks since the start of the Iran conflict, according to Lundberg. Today, national average is also 88 cents more than one year ago. She also says gas prices could go up another 10 or 15 cents as retailers tried to make up the big hikes they've had to pay for oil. History unfolded after the four crew members aboard Artemis II completed a successful splashdown off the coast of San Diego, California following a 10 day mission in space. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman says NASA is now ready for more missions. After a brief 53 year intermission, the show goes on. NASA is back in the business of sending astronauts to the moon and bringing them home safely. The group of four completed their lunar flyby on Monday, breaking the record for the farthest distance humans have been from the earth. President Trump also congratulated them on Truth Social.
