Investigators in Hickory County, Missouri, say 39 year old Michael Stock crashed his boat on Palm de Terre Lake Sunday, allegedly refusing to bring injured passengers back to shore to be treated after the crash, then ditching the boat and his passengers before cops got to him. He's facing multiple counts including felony second degree kidnapping, assault and leaving the scene of an accident involving physical injury. Police are also looking at whether alcohol was involved in the crash. Boaters are always urged to avoid alcohol, to follow navigation laws and immediately seek help after any accident of the water. The investigation remains ongoing.
