Iran once again firing over both ballistic missiles and drones on their neighbors here in the Gulf raising questions over the future of a possible peace deal between the US And Iran. Now US Centcom confirming those strikes happening after its forces struck Iranian radar sites and shot down four one way attack drones. US Officials say Iran then fired seven ballistic ballistic missiles towards both Kuwait and Bahrain. Centkon confirming six of those missiles were intercepted and the seventh did not reach its intended target. Iran continues to leverage what's happening in Lebanon despite a U S backed ceasefire. Israeli forces and Iranian backed militant group Hezbollah are still exchanging strikes. Iran's foreign minister says if the fighting doesn't stop in Lebanon, then the entire war could restart.

In California's race for governor, a prominent Democrat takes a big step forward.

Democrat Javier Becerra claiming one of two spots on the November ballot in the race to succeed California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is term limited. While President Trump backed conservative commentator Steve Hilton and billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer continue to battle for the other spot, Becerra touted his over three decades in public office, including as former Health and Human Services secretary and California Attorney general, Hilton and President Trump have slammed the length of time it takes for California to process votes as elections officials continue to count ballots. Meantime, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton winning the recent Republican nomination for U.S. senate, defeating incumbent John Cornyn. In a chat with Saturday. In America, Paxton says Democratic nominee James Talarico has views that are too extreme for Texans and is now trying to backpedal on some of those statements.

The idea here we have to expose him, his actual statements, which he's as many and he's obviously now trying to run from those statements. He's trying to modify what he said because he knows he could run into Democratic primary with those. But he's having a hard time running in a general election with those views.

And Talarico's controversial statements in the past have included him claiming that, quote, God is non binary, unquote, and saying there are six genders during a debate on the House floor back in 2021. An Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon today killing several members of the Lebanese military, according a senior officer. That's according to the Lebanese army. And well, days after the two sides reached apparently a new cease fire deal, the army did not give any further details on the release of the names or the ranks of those troops killed. Local TV reporting that two members of the military were killed in the airstrike, including a brigadier general. I'm Paul Stevens. This is FOX News.
