Iran peace talks hit new tension. I'm Angelo Bavaro, Fox News. President Trump is condemning Israel strikes against Hezbollah targets in Beirut as he claims a peace deal could be signed today.
Reporter covering Iran peace talks
The president wrote that on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a peace deal with Iran. He says that Israel does have a right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and, and meaningless. He writes nobody was hurt, injured or killed. Now, this comes a couple of hours after the IDF came out and said that they did strike parts of Beirut today in response to Hezbollah's fire towards Israeli territory, saying they're not going to tolerate this kind of fire into their territory.

FOX is Aisha Hosni. The judge in the Carmelo Anthony trial is speaking out about a controversial decision that, that he made.
Reporter covering Carmelo Anthony trial
One of the most controversial parts was in fact the judge's order to ban cameras from the courtroom, but he is standing by that decision. In an interview with a local Dallas station, Collin County Judge John Roach Jr. Says barring cameras and live streaming from Anthony's trial was necessary, saying in part, quote, I'll tell you why my primary goal in every case is to make sure the defendant and the prosecution get a fair trial, period. And he goes on to say, I know I made people mad, but, but I'm not here to make them happy either. As many of our viewers know, Carmelo Anthony was sentenced to 35 years last week after the jury quickly found him guilty. Judge Roach says the media's right to know about the trial is extremely important, but he does believe the public knew what was going on.

Officers in riot gear and police horses were deployed for crowd control at times. People were also seen throwing objects at those officers and trying to destroy buses. Severe thunderstorms to break out along the east coast from New York all the way down the I95 corridor. More than 70 million Americans under that level, two out of five risk and another 30 million under the level one. That two out of five is expansive, extends from the capital of New York all the way down through Atlanta, Georgia. And so we've got a lot going on World cup matches, a lot of travel probably happening. It is weekend, so that is going to be a bit of an issue. And it will come in two ways. We've got one round of thunderstorms, more discrete storms in the warm sector of this area of low pressure in this cold front. And then the cold front will be that final blow of damaging wind.
