Jared Halpern, Vice President JD Vance is expected to travel to Geneva later this week to officially sign a deal that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end a US Naval blockade of Iran's ports.

72 more Ebola cases and 32 deaths are reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the most new infections in one day since the start of this current outbreak.

The number of cases is believed to be much higher since the Ebola outbreak was confirmed May 15, weeks after it is suspected to have begun. This could turn out to be the worst flare up of Ebola in history. Congo's Ministry of Health said the numbers show the outbreak is spreading rapidly. It also reflects more active surveillance.
