A separate Trump push for election reform has been struck down by a federal judge in Boston ruling that an executive order requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote would violate the separation of powers. There's a federal settlement over the discharge of so called Forever Chemicals.

The Justice Department says chemical company Kmores will spend about $450 million on pollution control and relief programs and penalties to settle enforcement claims over the years long illegal discharge of synthetic forever chemicals in New Jersey, North Carolina and West Virginia. The settlement says Kamores, violated the federal Toxic Substances Control act of facilities in those states and violated the Clean Water act and state laws by discharging the chemicals known as pfas into the Delaware, Cape Fear and Ohio rivers. They're used to make products resistant to water, grease and stains, and studies link them to harmful health effects through exposure. Chris Foster, FOX News.

The heat wave is exceptionally intense this early in the summer. It's already been compared to the August 2003 heat wave when high temperatures caused 15,000 deaths. The UK is also feeling the heat for the next two days, with some schools closed and rail lines affected. Air conditioning is much less used in Europe compared to the US and experts say Europe is the fastest warming continent in the world.

But one fan ended up with a pink slip from her employer, JPMorgan Chase, after emptying an orange and blue Knicks themed city garbage pail onto the sidewalk, then walking away with a pail itself. The New York Post says 40 year old Angie Baez was a DEI executive with JPMorgan Chase. Sources telling the paper the bank saw the video of the incident, which went viral, with a company spokesperson telling the Post the employee is no longer with the company.
