And that's when crews immediately evacuated the building that is being converted from a former office space into a residential apartment building. Thankfully, all those workers are safe. Fire officials say the buckled support columns caused floors between the 21st and 26 stories to sag and authorities quickly cleared out several nearby buildings, including a hotel and a school.
