President Trump says that he's been to areas struck by tornadoes, hurricanes, you name it. But he says he's never seen damage like this before. He and the first lady toured the area. They met with first responders, survivors and grieving families. One week after the Guadalupe river surged more than 26ft in under an hour, killing at least 120 people. The president says his focus was on comforting those families and showing his love and support. He spoke about Camp mystic, the Christian all girls camp near the river where 27 campers and counselors died. Some of the victims as young as eight years old, capturing the hearts of just so many across the country.

Those lawmakers were turned away when showing up unannounced. Miami Dade County's Democratic mayor Daniela Levine Cava says a single tour isn't good enough.
