So new escalation with the US Continuing to carry out strikes in Iran today. Amid this renewed escalation, we've seen Iran carry out strikes of its own this weekend. And just yesterday the US Military announced the tragic deaths of two US Service members. They say that one service member is still missing and that four others were transported to Jordanian hospitals after an Iranian missile and drone attack on a base in Jordan On Friday. President Trump reportedly telling News Nation, quote, we hate to see it happen. It's in service to our country. And Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reacted writing, godspeed, heroes. Their sacrifice only stiffens our resolve.

The former mayor of Greater Manchester aims for greater public control of essential services and new powers for regional governments, signaling a shift to the left from outgoing Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Burman's office also says he wants to relocate part of number 10 Downing street up to Manchester, scrap plans for a government issued digital ID that would have tackled illegal immigration but also eventually allow people to manage childcare or tax returns.
