Elisa continues with another piece of sad news:
“We're just getting word that Chuck Mangione has died. Best known for that '70s hit 'Feel So Good.' The two-time Grammy winner made more than 30 albums.” [00:22]

David explains:

Details of the meeting remain undisclosed, as the Justice Department has not commented on the specifics.
Elisa Brady adds:
“Fox's David spun this as the Justice Department also seeks to unseal grand jury records from three Epstein related cases. One judge already denied that motion.” [01:36]

Elisa Brady shifts focus to local policies in New York City. New York City Mayor Eric Adams has proposed restrictions on where marijuana can be smoked within the city.

“Cause you still smell it everywhere.” [03:13]
“If I'm with my daughter, then yes. I absolutely bothers me because I don't want her to be exposed to it.” [03:21 - 03:25]
However, not all New Yorkers share his sentiment. Gernall Scott interjects with a lighter perspective:
“One of the better smells, to be honest with you.” [03:28]
Terry notes that current New York State law already prohibits smoking marijuana in cars, restaurants, and on federal property within New York City. Adams’ proposal seeks to further limit public smoking areas to address community concerns.
Timestamp: [03:31 - 04:19]
Elisa Brady brings in a public health update regarding flu vaccinations. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Head of Health Secretary, has accepted the CDC advisory panel's recommendation to remove the mercury-based preservative, thimerosal, from all flu shots administered in the U.S.
The decision aligns with actions taken since 2001, where thimerosal was removed from most children's vaccines due to concerns about mercury exposure, despite no proven link to autism.
Brady explains:
“Thimerosal removed from all flu shots given in the U.S. children and adults once used to prevent contamination already removed from most Kids vaccines since 2001.” [03:44]
Excessive mercury exposure is known to cause kidney and nervous system damage, which justifies the continued removal of thimerosal from vaccines.

“Wall Street stocks remain mixed. The Dow's down 1:54.” [04:19]
