Too close for comfort. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The FAA says Marine One, the military helicopter carrying President Trump briefly came too close to departing passenger jet near Reagan National Airport yesterday. It was not a near miss, rather what's called a loss of separation incident.

When Marine One takes off, those planes are supposed to stop. Yesterday when they were skids up at 2:33pm from the ellipse, the planes didn't stop. The FAA says based on our preliminary safety review, there was a momentary loss of separation after which the aircraft continued to move away from one another. The air traffic controller was in contact with both the commercial pilot and Marine One pilot during the loss of separation. As the White House has said, the president was never in danger. We are continuing to review the incident and will implement any appropriate corrective actions based on our findings.

Last Friday, Secret Service and Homeland were doing a security assessment of Trump national preparing for last night's fundraiser. They noticed suspicious guy with an earpiece taking photos and video of a security setup here as if he was part of the team. Well, he left and came back on Sunday. This time he identified himself as being part of a State Department security detail. Well, that didn't make sense. So the feds called in the sheriff's deputies who found an illegal 16 round magazine with hollow point bullets inside his pants. They searched his car. In the parking lot. They recovered a pistol, security badge, additional loaded magazines and binoculars.
