The president also explained in this morning how his Alaska sit down will Russian President Vladimir Putin with go saying he will call President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine and the Europeans afterwards to tell them what kind of deal Russia is willing to make to end the killing in Ukraine.

An explosion at a US Steel plant near Pittsburgh leaves one dead and two people missing, potentially trapped under the rubble. Emergency workers on site trying to rescue them. Texas Democrats still on the run from the state House as Republicans try to reach quorum and approve a new congressional map. Here's fox's Brook Taylor.

There are no signs really of these Democrats showing up, even as Republicans threatened to have them removed from office for abandoning their seats. Civil arrest warrants have been issued and the House speaker and attorney general are working to enforce them. In Illinois and now California, where dozens of Democrats fled. They face a $500 fine for each day they're gone. And Texas House members remember, just make $600 a month. They have been asking for donations, but in a victory for Republicans, a Texas district court has granted a temporary restraining order blocking funding from the former Congressman Beto o' Rourke's organization, which covered upfront travel and hotel costs.
