Utah Governor Spencer Cox says the suspect has not confessed to the shooting and is not cooperating with the investigation. But people close to him are, including the 22 year old's romantic partner, who is a male transitioning to a female and who lived with the suspect in southern Utah. FBI sources tell FOX the romantic partner was shocked when they found out about the killing. They had no idea their significant other was planning to assassinate Charlie Kirk and shared private messages with investigators that then helped them zero in on the alleged killer.

Robinson is to be arraigned on murder charges Tuesday. Turning Point USA says Charlie Kirk's funeral will be held September 21, a week from today in Arizona. President Trump has said he will attend. Texas Republican Congressman Michael McCaul says he'll not seek another term in Congress after.

More than 20 years on Capitol Hill. Congressman McCaul announced on ABC's this Week, I'm looking now for a new challenge. McCaul, who has chaired several House committees during his tenure, says he will serve out the remainder of his term through January 2027, then step away from politics, but added, I want to continue to serve the people of this country in national security and foreign policy and do what I've done the last two decades, make America stronger. McCaul easily won his Texas district in 2024, but did not say if the state's recent redrawing of district vaccines was a factor in his decision. Granal Scott, FOX News.

Vaccinations for those exposed to the Ebola virus and frontline health care workers have begun. In the southern Congo, an outbreak of the highly contagious disease was announced earlier this month. It's killed at least 16 people. According to the African Centers for Disease Control, 400 doses of the vaccine have been dispatched, with the rest to be delivered later.
