Blanc police say that that fire was started by a suspected active shooter. Sources telling Fox 2 Detroit that that active shooter is now down. So this is the situation we have. We also know, according to that reporting from our local affiliate in Detroit that there are six, six to eight victims, their condition currently unknown. An active shooter shooting the Church of Latter Day Saints, the Mormon church in Grand Blanc Township. This is about 60 minutes northwest of Detroit, about 10 miles south of Flint, Michigan.

And police have now just released new details saying one person was shot to death, nine others were wounded. They expect to find more victims after the fire is put out. Police say they shot and killed the shooter. No word yet on what the motive may have been. Charges have been filed against the opened fire on a crowded riverfront night spot in South Point, North Carolina last night. Three people were killed, several others injured. Witnesses say the gunman pulled up, started shooting and then took off at his boat. Minutes later, the Coast Guard spotted someone matching the suspect's description loading a boat in a nearby boat ramp. Police identify him as 39 year old Nigel Edge. He now faces three counts of first degree murder, among other charges. This is a FOX News alert. New York City's Mayor Eric Adams has just announced he is ending his reelection campaign. He was seen as unlikely to win a second term as mayor as he would face Zoran Mandami, who is the Democrat nominee for the New York mayoral position. Former New York Governor Cuomo is also remaining in the race. America is listening to FOX News.

Russia launched a massive strike on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities overnight. Ukraine's President Zelensky says strike was composed of nearly 500 drones, more than 40 missiles. He calls it a deliberated target terror against ordinary cities. Denmark and other countries in the region have all reported drone sightings in their airspace as well. Ahead of his meeting with President Trump tomorrow, Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu is reportedly expected to make a significant concession under the White House new cease fire plan. Reports say it will pave the way for possible Palestinian statehood, but stipulates that Hamas cannot be part of any governing structure. A Republican congresswoman is calling for an investigation after her son's Iowa high School celebrated Bisexual Plus Awareness Week.

Lynmar High School in Marion, Iowa celebrated Bisexual Plus Awareness Week during a student run TV program. Congresswoman Ashley Henson's 14 year old son attends the high school. She says it aired without parental consent. She sent a letter to U.S. department of Education demanding a full investigation. During the segment, students explained the meaning of non monosexual identity, which refers to sexual orientations that are not exclusively homosexual or heterosexual. Has been transferred to a Pennsylvania detention center while he faces human smuggling charges in Tennessee. His attorneys had argued his previous detention in Virginia made it hard for them to review material and the new location will make it easier for them to access him.
