Texas Governor Greg Abbott is telling cities and towns around the state to stop politicizing roads and road signs, including the painting of surfaces. In his press release, Abbott says nonstandard markings, signs or signals are not just unlawful pose a danger to motorists. The matter often concerns the painting of political slogans or images on rights of way and sidewalks. At the center of the issue is the use of rainbow colored markings in conjunction with LGBTQ activism or events. Cities failing to comply face state funding cuts.

This after finding a homemade bomb in one suspect's house. Prosecutors say the three young men all lived in Antwerp, taken into custody after an anti terrorism judge ordered searches of their homes with bomb sniffing dogs. Pope Leo is calling on Christians to care for the poor and praising journalism as an act of justice.
