Office of the Israeli prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, releasing a statement just minutes ago saying there was a security consultation held after that violation with the top security echelon here in Israel and the country's defense minister and that the prime minister has instructed the military to act forcefully against terror targets inside the Gaza Strip. We're getting a similar statement from the Israeli military saying the IDF will respond firmly so we can expect more Israeli strikes throughout Gaza later today as the Israelis try to set a new precedent with Hamas that these attacks will not be tolerated within the Gaza Strip.

And those reported attacks on Israeli troops coming after Hamas spent days fighting Palestinian rival groups after the ceasefire went into effect. President Trump, meantime, continues to call for Russia and Ukraine to come to a peace agreement, but the two countries are still launching airstrikes on each other.

Moscow reportedly hit Ukrainian forces and infrastructure with over 250 aerial bombs overnight. It happened just hours after Ukraine's president met with Trump at the White House, during which he denied giving Kyiv Tomahawk missiles, at least for now. Trump plans to hold a second summit with Russia's president in the coming weeks.

And Russia's Defense Ministry claiming its forces captured a village in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine. Thieves stealing priceless jewels from the Louvre museum today entering Paris, officials say via a basket lift that's coming from the Interior Ministry as well. Therefore, I just signed a commutation releasing George Santos from prison immediately. Good luck, George. Have a great life. Unquote. Santos served just 41 days of a seven year prison sentence after pleading guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges. A new Associated Press north center for Public affairs poll finding a lot of Americans are growing increasingly concerned about their ability to find a good job under the Trump White House.
