Armed forces boarded and took control of the ship, known as the Sagda on Tuesday, part of the Trump administration's broader efforts to take control of the country's oil. U.S. southern Command says the tanker was operating in defiance of President Trump's established quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean. The Sagoda is a Liberian flag tanker. Its registration says it is owned and managed by a company in Hong Kong. It was sanctioned by the Treasury Department under an executive order relating to Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022. And Andrew Jones are the newest members of the Baseball hall of fame. In his fourth appearance on the ballot, Beltran received just over 84% of votes while Jones was on 78% of the ballots. In his ninth appearance, Beltran played for seven teams over 20 major league seasons, was a nine time All Star, a three time Gold Glove winner and one of only five players with at least 400 home runs and 300 steals. Jones, a five time All Star and 10 time Gold Glover, spent 17 years in the bigs but was most known for his time with the braves where in 1996 he became the youngest player to homer in a World Series game.
