And that is what President Trump says about his administration's latest actions in Minneapolis, where a federal officer shot and killed a man yesterday. On Saturday, it was the second such incident this month. In a phone interview with the Wall Street Journal, the president would not say if the officer who shot Alex Priddy did the right thing, but he said his administration is reviewing everything and then we'll make a decision. He's also signaled a willingness to, he says, event withdraw ice officials from the city. Protests are continuing in Minneapolis despite the winter storm and bitter cold, the system causing problems from the deep south to New England.

Here in Boston, we are preparing for the worst of it. We are under a snow emergency, which means they want people to get off of the roads.

Fox's Brian Yenis says parts of New England could get up to two feet of snow. But snow is not the biggest danger with this storm system. It's the bitter cold, which has turned deadly in places like Austin, Texas, and New York City. New York's Mayor Zoran Mamdani, for those.

Without shelter, the intense cold can be fatal. Yesterday alone, before the snow had even begun to come down, at least five New Yorkers passed away and were found outside.

The storms also closed New York's LaGuardia Airport until further notice as airlines across the country have canceled more than 11,000 flights. There's been a crash of a private business jet in Maine. Eight people were on board. It crashed during takeoff from the Bangor International Airport last night. We're not sure at this point if there were any fatalities or injuries. The plane went down in that severe storm which is rolling through the New England area now. The airport has been closed. The public is being asked to avoid the area. The government will return to work this week With a government shutdown looming, a number of Democratic senators now are saying that they can't vote for the spending bill to avert it because it funds ICE.

This bill funds 78% of the government. It includes money for DHS and the Pentagon. Independent Senator Angus King of Maine helped end the fall shutdown, but he will not vote yes this time because of ice. New Hampshire Democrat Jeanne Shaheen did not respond directly when asked how she would vote.

Sam Darnold, 346 yards and three touchdowns through the air in Denver. The Patriots beat the Broncos 107 in blizzard conditions. Only three points scored in the second half. Once the snow rolled in, that was enough for New England to advance to a record 12th Super Bowl. They'll try to win their seventh championship in a rematch of Super Bowl 49 won by New England.
