We must now re examine every single alien who has entered our country from Afghanistan under Biden. And we must take all necessary measures to ensure the removal of any alien from any country who does not belong here or add benefit to our country.

The suspect in custody, a reported Afghan national, worked with U.S. government entities, including the CIA in Afghanistan. FBI Director Kash Patel. They're here serving our country. They are here protecting everyday Americans and citizens around the world in our nation's capital. They are the heroes of this day and we must remember them on this day and every day and their families and the sacrifice they have made. Federal immigration authorities have paused processing requests from Afghan nationals pending further review of security and vetting protocols. Effective immediately, President Trump's election interference case in Georgia has been dropped.

A judge formally dismissed the criminal charges case after a new prosecutor asked him to do just that. Peter Scandalakis, the independent prosecutor, wrote that in his dismissal request that merely contesting an election is not illegal and that dragging out the case until after Donald Trump leaves office would be unproductive. Now, this case, Brett, stemmed from that 2020 phone call where President Trump spoke to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in Georgia on the phone and said, quote, I just want to find 11,780 votes, end quote. The judge not only threw out Trump's portion, but the 18 CO defendants are also in the clear.
